TEMA ISTANBUL EXPOSITION STAND
Tema Istanbul Exposition stand is located inside CNR exhibition building in Istanbul, Turkey. The 435 sqm stand is designed for being an information corner for "Tema İstanbul" housing project. It is composed of transparent columns and a roof structure which is made of styrofoam blocks.
CLOUD
The glass columns which are located at the periphery of the projection line of the roof structure carry the roof itself. The nested roof is entitled as the "cloud". As the "cloud" is carried by transparent colums, the visitor looking at the stand from a distance observes the cloud as it is hanging on the air. The columns also function as information panels that display texts about the housing project.
The space under the roof structure contain areas for the sales staff and a cafe. The projection lines of every nested roof structure helps in zoning of the space on the plan. The model of the housing is located at the center within the projection line of the smallest roof.
The roof is made out of EPS blocks with different sizes. EPS is selected for its lightweight feature. Below diagram shows how EPS blocks are organized to form a roof structure.
